Walk2Help ни е любимо приложение доста отдавна. Идеята е проста – караш колело, тичаш или ходиш, вместо да си в кола, и по този начин намаляваш въглеродния си отпечатък. Получаваш точки, които след това даряваш по някоя кауза, която ти харесва. Спонсорите осребряват събраните точки и след известно време влизаш във фейсбук да видиш снимки от деня на дарението и да се почувстваш горд.

В момента има страхотна кауза – летен арт лагер за талантливи деца от домове. Сваляй приложението и почвай да ходиш, защото е доста амбициозна задача (и то с малък срок, остават едва 11 дена).

Lots and lots of you lovely readers have said that you stop by for a mood lift when you’re sad, angry or just need inspiration. You’re so kind and sweet and make us so happy! So we try our best to create a safe place filled with good vibes.
That’s why we’re always reluctant to share the not-so-great-moments of life. For example, we both have migraine and while E. suffers from it only occasionally , mine are getting worse. My doctor said I need to mark the days with migraine on a small pocket calendar in addition to the diary in which I describe everything in detail: what I eat, how much sleep I get and so on. Just looking at the calendar fills me with anger, which I try to laugh off (for example by drawing in bed). He also prescribed Sibelium, which makes me very sleepy. After a few weeks we’ll know if it’s the right medication for me. Keep your fingers crossed.

A list of things we enjoy:
going on dinner date in a new Italian restaurant
watching the sunset
dancing like crazy with strawberries in our hands while preparing a very late coffee
reading on the sofa

Pasta con olio e aglio/with garlic and olive oil, very basic and so delicious. We combined it with two types of fresh mozzarella, delivered straight from Italy. The very late lunch/dinner we had before we took the train and traveled across the country for three wonderful days, filled with laughter, dinner with family, simple food and good sleep.

…So we’re staying home. Drinking tea, taking pills (the doctor hates us, he prescribed the worst tasting medications). It’s nothing serious, but this time we’ll use something more than herbal tea and fresh orange juice – we have to get better in the next two days, when we’re supposed to go on a long trip and spend the holidays with one part of la familia grande.

We got worried about our cat, she became very antisocial. We decided it’s because she’s locked up in an apartment, so she’ll probably spend this summer in her first home, a house with a big yard. It was a tough decision. We’ll miss her so much.

Friday was a movie night. We made those perfect and very simple noodles.

These were the kind of photos I used to make as a teen. I was constantly making improvised photo-shoots with friends, we all had lots of fun in those 6 years. I don’t really miss it now, but I still remember my ambition to become a photographer one day – with a professional studio and all that jazz.
