First, this is a great cover. And second, this is a great album. Listen to it (and purchase) here! Everyone needs a special song when buying some strawberries or for celebrating checking off all the things of the to-do list early in the morning.
The greatest compliment of all is that Sevda really really loves this; she can’t listen to music for more than a few hours (without getting a headache and starting feel dizzy, that is) and definitely not the I-love-this-album-so-much-I’m-gonna-share-it-with-everyone kind of person, but right now she’s flooding her facebook page with links.

Sevda: I’m in a creative rut all weekend (that’s what the photo says). So I spend most of my days in front of a mirror, trying to make a good french braid.

Emil: I’m too lazy to do my hair so I’m gonna cut it in an hour. Soon we’ll give you before& after photos.

DIY handmade typorgraphy project

Okay, so this is probably a bit obvious. But we found it out only a few weeks ago so let’s ~~guess~~ hope we’re not the last one to think of it.
If you love both handmade and typography but sometimes need something different than your own handwriting, you can try this.

Open a new document in photoshop/illustrator/any program of the kind. Than type in the text you need. Black text on white document works best.

You basically copy the words using a pen.

This also work on a fabric, so you can design your own typography tote bag/t-shirt using only your computer and a textile marker, no printer needed! Just watch out, because probably the marker would bleed (but of course you can always clean it… we guess.)

We used the Calamity Jane font for this little project.

This technique is not okay for commercial projects (if you use a font protected by copyright).

Бедата иде от това, че наистина те харесва. Иска да ти направи най-добрата изненада. Вади сервиз от най-фин порцелан за чая, но дали ще ти харесат рисунките на цветя или ще ти се стори старомоден? Пече ти цял куп мъфини с череши и сметанов крем и наистина се надява да обичаш череши. Прави сам празнична украса. Когато всичко е готово, ризата е изгладена, сменил е жилетката пет-шест пъти (ами вратовръзка? Папионка? Накрая се отказва и от двете), отваря книга и се опитва да изглежда небрежен и спокоен. Само че е не е спокоен. Честно да ти кажа, малко е притеснен. И много, много щастлив.

For his birthday, Emo wanted breakfast in bed, but we both had to get up early and we didn’t have time to cook. So he got a very special breakfast in a box!

This was our favorite bar – 703, but it closed some time ago. A few months after that they opened a delicious Mexican fast food restaurant and… they closed in December…
